Driven by the synthetic diamond industry cluster, Henan has become the world's largest synthetic diamond production base. Industry experts believe that at this stage, the market size of natural diamonds and jewellery exceeds 100 billion U.S. dollars, and the international market has gradually accepted man-made diamonds, which is a rare development opportunity for manufacturers.

 Secondly, the industry ecology is sound

"At present, Henan has professional research institutions, as well as standardisation organisations and quality testing centres for this industry." Wang Qinsheng, Chief Engineer of Henan Diamond and Products Engineering Technology Research Centre and Honorary President of Cultivated Diamond Branch of China Jewellery and Jade Association, introduced that, in addition, most of the research institutes, colleges and universities, export agencies, design institutes as well as leading enterprises associated with this industry are gathered in Henan.

Lv Guofan introduced that Zhecheng is known as the diamond capital of China and the hometown of diamond micropowder. Among them, the output and export of diamond micropowder accounted for 70% and 50% of the national market share, and the output of large-grained single crystals accounted for 60% of the national market share.
